two-steps into Dallas Final

2004 - Ennis, TX - Bouncing back from a disappointing
outing at Indy to the #2 qualifying spot in Dallas, the
Tommy Lipar owned 2004 Mustang, piloted by Tommy Gray,
danced the Texas style two-step by first taking #7
qualifier Zach Barklage in round one and current points
leader Mike Ashley in round two. Gray met with
Ashley's teammate Danny Rowe in the finals; a rematch for
the cars from the St. Louis race. Rowe had a slight
starting line advantage and held off the troubled RAGE
machine to a 6.23 to 6.30 victory. The final stop on
the AMS Staff leasing Pro Mod Challenge will contested in
Las Vegas, October 29 - 31, 2004 and will feature the AMS
Shootout, a race within a race for a special $10,000
purse.
